BioHello all,
My name is Katie and I'm an arabic linguist/interpreter in the U.S. Army. Pretty exciting life considering that right now, I'm at DLI in Monterey, California. Originally, though, I'm from Kennesaw, Georgia, an Atlanta suburb. I LOVE music, I play guitar and have been known to hit a few notes on the piano and french horn. I make an attempt at singing well, and sometimes succeed. Here, I like to lay on the beach, drive around on HWY 1, and whether I like it or not, study. That's what happens when you learn arabic in less than a year and a half. I drink alot of coffee and enjoy the finer things in life... stunning views, a good glass of cabernet, or a night of salsa dancing.
